The DeKalb County Engineering Office is responsible for performing engineering services for the county, which are necessary to design, construct, and properly maintain the county’s roads and bridges. The Engineering Office is also responsible for enforcing the DeKalb County Subdivision Regulations and for issuing permits to install utilities on County Right-of-Way. DeKalb County has over 1300 miles of roads and over 170 bridges.
